Privacy policy
SkyEnthusiast is a free aviation puzzle site run by AirSquare, the Netherlands (KvK 96084928). This page explains what is stored when you play, which outside services the site uses, and the choices you have.
Last updated 1 November 2026.
What stays on your device
Your guesses, scores, streaks and settings are saved in your own browser (local storage), so you can pick up where you left off. They are never sent to us, and we can’t see them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What we don’t collect
There are no accounts, so we don’t ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to play.
Anonymous game statistics
When you start or finish a daily puzzle, your browser sends us a small anonymous note: which game, which day, and for a finished game whether you solved it and in how many guesses. We use these counts to show how other players did (“41% solved it today”) and to see which games people enjoy. The note contains no identifier, and we don’t store your IP address with it, so results can’t be linked to you or to each other.
Hosting and visitor statistics
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages securely and protect against attacks. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t track you across other websites.
Advertising
To keep the games free, we plan to show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, if you agree, personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any personalised advertising, and can change their choice at any time through the privacy settings link shown with the consent message. You can also manage personalised ads from Google at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites like this at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Links to other sites
Some links may go to shops or booking sites, and some of these are affiliate links: if you buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. As explained above, we hold almost none. For questions or requests, email hello@skyenthusiast.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Who is responsible
AirSquare, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 96084928, is responsible for this website and its data processing. Contact: hello@skyenthusiast.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
